This is a good post, especially for anyone wanting to get all the info they can about the S2000.

In regards to #28 though, it was my understanding that the older Honda engines (pretty much the ones that went into MY '00 cars and older) were the ones that spun backwards. In relation to pretty much all other engine manufacturers in the world, they were spinning their engines the opposite way. It is with the new generation of engines that Honda is spinning in the same direction as the rest of the world. I believe they use to spin counter-clockwise, and now they spin clockwise. I could be wrong though...

Here are some suspension facts.
On MY02 and 03 suspensions is different from the rest of the years.
On these two, Honda used softer shocks with stiffer springs.
Thus, if you lower the car just using aftermarket springs, the rided tends to be a little softer and lowers the car a bit more than others year.
Love my Berlina Black clean or dirty!

re:15 if you buy a quality bolton product, you will gain good power.

ex: toda header, amuse exhausts, prm intake, etc, etc.

but other products like the mugen header, generic intakes, etc dont do much. oh yeah, the hks hiper sometimes loses hp.

Am I the only one who respectfully disagrees with this one? I like the S2000 because it's a very balanced, driver-oriented and *fun* car that begs to be driven on the track. The fact that it's a convertible has nothing to do with my love for the car. I actually prefer coupes, but the S2k is good enough to steal my heart despite its vinyl top.

Fortunately the S2k looks quite nice with the hardtop.

im with bryan, have the convertible top is a perk of owning the s2k. i could care less if the s2k didnt come with one, im actually going to be a proud owner of a new hardtop soon.
