Ok I can't seem to find the most up to date information all at once on any one site, so I'm asking all of you:

-What years of the s2000 can have a hard-top installed on them? (without anything custom-made)

-Just how small IS the trunk space? Can someone give me an example of a typical amount of objects one can fit into the trunk?

-I've heard that it takes a good bit of pressure on the accelerator (and thus higher RMPs) for the s2000 to really show it's power. Does this have any truth or validiy?

-Any other major/minor complaints about the car? (it'd be helpful if each complaint is accompanied with an example of a previous car, it doesn't matter which, that didn't have this problem so as to differentiate between problems with the s2000 and problems with all cars)

1) you can install the hardtop on every year of the s2000.
2) you can stick in a golf bag..barely..
3) the car is good for me..i was used to turbo lag on my old talon with a 16g so this instant response to the throttle is awesome!
4) no major problems so far..had a little problem with the slider on my seat. if you are buying a 2000 you might have to deal with the 1-2 grind..but from everybody here on the board, we all love the car..i don't think anyone will have any major complaints with the exception that it's tough to fit more than 1 girl!!

 

If you use carry bags, 2 golf bags will go in the trunk.
