I had this Buzzing done on my MY01 in 2003. At the time my car had 31K on it, just barely within Warranty, the manager at the dealership barely agree to the work. He told me that they could have gone either on the repair work, but at the time, he happened to also own a S2K, as well as a member of S2Ki, he approved the repair.

I consider myself very luck. But yeah, a 7 years old car with 40K on it.. I wouldn't even dare to try to get it fixed for free. It just doesn't make sense.

 

Time to buy an aftermarket exhaust and forget about it. Much cheaper.
