I dropped the S2K off today at the dealer to get both the TSB 078 (seatbelt fix) and the TSB 037 (complimentary rear window) done.

I was informed today by the service manager that the TSB 037 wasn't a replacement window, but it was a process the tech puts the current window through; heat treated and cleared.

I always assumed that this TSB REPLACED the rear window.

So here's my question: who here has gotten this TSB done and how was it done (that is if you know)?

First of all Luder, there is a difference between a TSB and a recall. The seat belt is a recall by Honda so they HAVE to fix it if you request it. A TSB is UP TO the dealer (Service Manager) if he wants to do the work. Basically you have to prove that you have a problem. My car is in the shop this week for the seat belt, TSB 54 and 55, and I'm TRYING to get them to replace the rear window, at the very least, have them clean it and see if they can get it better. We'll see, hopefully I will have some info tomorrow about the rear window.

Hi,

WHAT IF I want to get my rear window REPLACED with a glass window, is there such a repair from Honda dealers? If so, how much would this cost?

Thanks!

Shing:

The problem is worse than that... You would have to fold the glass in thirds.

Not happening.

A fixed glass would only be 1/3 the height of what we have.
