Default tst - yes or no?

What is everyone's opinion on Honda's TST treatment ? According to them, its like adding a never-have-to-wax treatment to the paint. Is it worth the $400 ?

Save your $400 for something else,
Dont buy their treatment crap, or their leather conditioner crap.
All that shit is crap, save that $400 for a nice Zaino kit

hahaa - what's up bro - quit stalking me !!

Yeah, the dealer talks this treatment up to be a must, I never heard of it, so I told them Id get back to them on it. Its guaranteed for 3 years, but I think some Zaino coats will do the same.

It is not "Honda's TST treatment", but something the dealer is selling to make an extra profit. If there was a way to make the paint finish have a "never-have-to-wax" finish don't you think every car manufacture would offer this as a factory option? it is snake oil and Zaino will outlast and out shine for a fraction of the costs.

Yep, it's total bullshit and pure profit for the dealer. Same goes for "fabric protectant," "leather treatment," "undercoating" etc. It's all big $$ markup for the dealer if they can sell you that shit so be smart and don't buy into the hype from the sales people or "F&I" department.

There's NO wax job in the world worth $400. Dealers LOVE the margin. Ludedude summed it up quit nicely.

Does it come with 5 details, I would get it for 300 just for the details. Better than paying 100-150 each time. If not skip it.
