I'm anxious to see some pics and dynos when you return from vacation. Also, I could incorporate a parental visit in Florida while having the car worked on if your mechanic is willing to do more...
With 6 psi boost between 3-4K rpm, there really should not be any reason to do high rpm launches. I would do exactly the same as you. Bring the clutch out at about 3k - bury the throttle and hold on for dear life.

I am working with my friend's mechanic John Brown, he just built him a integra r thats putting out about 450 hp at the wheels, he and I are thinking about doing a bolt on kit for s2k.
