Turning off the engine with your knee
I'm 6'o", I've done it twice. First time was in my uncles SS Camaro at night, all of the sudden the lights went off and I realized the steering was stiff...it took me a few seconds to realize what it was. The second time happened the first week I had my S2K at autocross, but I figured out what happened in record time, I was proud of myself
Haven't had this problem but others clearly have.
Sounds like this to me. I can't recall off the top of my head but I don't think my knee moves much. There's also nothing attached to my S key other than the fob, car cover lock key and AAA tag.
I think it's supposed to be heel and toe shifting positions, not the whole leg jumping around with your knee in the air. Watch some professional heel and toe work and you'll see that they do not lift their legs a lot. Look on Youtube for videos of Basic heel and toe shifting. The movement is in your foot at your ankle, not your knee jumping up.
