Six seconds. Plus, if you cut the speed sensor wire, you can open and close the top safely at up to 10 mph - ie when you are slowing for a redlight and the rain starts to come in the cabin.

at the guy in the S triumphantly raising his arms after he wins.If you watch the entire comparison apparently the Z4 manual states that it is the fastest power roof in production.
Just for kicks, Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond "race" to see which is faster.
That comparo is worth watching just to hear Clarkson describe the Z4's stiff suspension as "American" in his best southern accent impression

Didn't realize the Sky was such a pain to put the top up / down and that you lose all you trunk space. Is that the way the Solstice is too?
I've heard in reviews of the Sky too that its a huge pain to close the trunk when the top is new because its bigger than the trunk and you have to sorta crush it in there. The review likened it to packing for vacation and overstuffing your luggage and trying to get it to close

How would you go about doing that if you don't mind me asking. I checked the DIY thread/sticky but couldn't find it. Could someone show me the link to it if possible?
It's in this thread on the second page.

I think it's true because the S top requires manual unlatching from the windshield frame. The Z4 does it all automatically.
The guy in the S unlatched his top manually (you can see him doing it w/ both hands) and was still able to get it down quicker than the Z4.
