:( Two dead in German S2000 crash
the report is a translation from a german article, so we dont know exactly how good that is.
Judging by the state of the vehicle i could quite believe that even if the seatbelt was worn you "could" be thrown clear of the vehicle even if wearing a belt.
Wicker/Andrewebill, as I said I completely respect your right to air your views on this forum, I would only ask for some sensitivity for the friends and familiy in the abscence of all the correct details.
I've offered my view, and my condolances, so I feel I cant add any more to this thread...please PM me if I've offended you, or if you want to discuss any further..
have a safe day everybody.

Firstly my thoughts and prayers go out to the family of those that died and hope the people in the VW make a speedy recovery.
I also agree with Markcu, I would recommend that we offer condolances rather than opinions on this sad event, just my opinion.

Damn. One can read a lot into this . . . speeding, 5am, girlfriend, probably drinking, probably no seatbelt. I've done them all - except the last. It could just as easily be anyone of us who taken such chances. My sympathy to the family and friends. This is one time the air bags were not enough. This is the worst pictures I seen. So young, so sad.
