Spring on Clear Side Lights

Yep I did it, I broke one of the springs while installing the clear side lights. Seems that I remember someone did it as well. Any suggestions?

You are right - they look and fit like sh!t anyway. I broke the spring trying to make them fit better. I tried to staighten the little indentation out to get some additional length on the spring and it broke.

I think we will have to get some from across the pond. I imagine that the european versions can be ordered thru Honda in Europe and look much better. I hope to check it out either thru a friend or on my next trip.

Big Al,

Several people have popped the spring into a couple of pieces, including myself. Check out my website for the results, but it boils down to me using a thin bead of clear-drying outdoor caulk. I think it looks sweet now...
