Default Two wonderful weeks in my '02....

Well, after the long wait, I'm finally family here. My '02 has arrived. This is hands-down the best car I've ever driven. You guys might think something is wrong with me...two weeks of ownership and the car still is not broken in (380 on the odo). Don't worry...I'm getting there. Besides...the car is a thrill to drive even without VTEC. Being able to VTEC will simply be an added bonus.

One more thing....I bought the car because I've loved it since it first came out. I was not expecting the many stares, thumbs-up, "nice car" comments, and smiles from girls. It's pretty cool, although that's the last reason I could think of to own this car. This has been my dream car. I once walked right past five Ferraris to gawk at the S2000 parked next to them (crazy, aren't I?). I can't believe I'm actually fortunate enough to drive it daily. Anyway, I thought I'd introduce her to you all:

Nice car. I know what you mean - I've loved Hondas for ages so I might be a little biased but friends of mine love the look of the S2000, even though they drive Boxsters and Elises.
I loved the SSX / SSM concept car when I first saw it in Top Gear magazine years ago.
I still can't believe I'll be driving an S2000 in a few days' time !!!

Very nice car indeed! My silver/black should arrive sometime around the second week in March. The dealership where mine is on order just got a silver/red on Saturday... if only it had black interior I would be driving it right now!

Anyway congrats, and have fun!!!

Hey Station GREAT looking car there! Those pictures taken at E. G. Honda? Hey I noticed that your front plates weren't put on. Did you ask for that or did they not put it on? Can't wait till my02 arrives. As each day passing I think to myself I'm that much closer to that same feeling you have with your car. Again congrats! I know that my02' will break in in about two weeks because I will love driving it so much!

Hey Station,
What a beautiful car. Silver/black is a timeless combination. That's the new Sebring Silver, right?

I've put on 200 miles in four days -- I want to reach 600 fast! But you're right -- even well below VTEC this car's amazing. Enjoy!

Very nice car, 380 miles in two weeks is more than I drive. Don't feel bad about it. Get to 600, park it. wait for spring, then let your first drive be the VTEC intro. Have a great time in your car and remember, it's not the destination, but the journey that counts.......

Correct...it's the new Sebring. I love the color. It suits the car perfectly. I originally wanted the red interior, but when I saw what Honda did to it for '02, I just about fell out of my chair. The updated black interior is great because the new metal (or metal-colored) trim pieces spruce it up and keep it from looking too stark. It's perfect.

Station I forgot to mention this on my post earlyer but GREAT LOOKING CAR! Yeah I should expect my02' I'm guessing Blair's going to get it in his lot on April 3, 2002 because I'm looking at 5 weeks from my build date which is February 27. Does this sound right? Didn't you get your 02' exactly 5 weeks after your build date? As for your front plates thanks for telling me this is going to be my first car and that's why I ask if you asked for it off or if they didn't put it on. I'm really fortunate for having a s2k as my first car. When the time is right I will ask Blair to not have the front plates put on. Again thanks for the information and I will keep you guys posted.
