Wow....S2000 as your first car? Not bad. Anyway, mine arrived 5 weeks after the build date, but I am under the impression that it was because of the holidays...mine wasn't actually put on the boat and shipped until January 8th. It was here on the 22nd. So you may actually get it a lot sooner than that, if it actually ships closer to the build date. Lucky you...just in time for spring!!

 

Congrats on your new toy... i just picked up mine this past weekend; love it. I've put on 120 miles in two days already...

I've also requested the dealer NOT to put on the front license plate frame so I won't get some nasty holes on my bumper; had to call them every other day just to make sure.

Well, enjoy the ride of your life. (I know the first 600 mile is a pain.)

You should know.... the bumper comes predrilled for a license plate, and has threaded inserts in the bumper body. What you need to be sure is that they give you the plugs. These are color matched to your bumper, and are delivered with the car. Dealers have a habit of tossing them when they put their dealership's advertising plate on the front bumper.

Wow another Elk Grove Honda S2000. I purchased my car from them too back in 7/31/01. It was(is) the closest Honda dealership in the Bay Area that sold their cars for MSRP that is why i bought it from them.

Anyway, congratulations. Nice looking car you've got their....
