Default Type S drivers seat?

I can't find info anywhere on this and I know it's a long shot, but does anyone know where or how I can acquire a type S drivers seat from Japan?

Our passenger seats do not lean back as far as the drivers seat, so when I have short people in my car, and they want to lean back, they can't. I thought an easy fix (if I can find one) would be to get a JDM Type S drivers seat from Japan. I've confirmed it can lean back further than the passenger seat on the JDM model. I'd like to keep the seats stock before I start looking into aftermarkets.

The passenger seat in my '06 doesn't lean back as far as the driver's either.

I'm sure it'll be pretty damn expensive, and you're willing to spend this $ just to satisfy whoever passenger you are giving a ride to...?

For me it's like "who the fck cares about the passenger, they don't want a ride or be my cup holder, then gtfo."

its actually very uncomfortable to sit in the passenger seat. I hate it too. But i dont think getting a drivers seat will help. It wont bolt up.

It looks like the bracket and the seat belt are built into the seat. So a swap will eliminate that.

that's why he was saying he was going to buy a Type S drivers seat - the type S is the CR, but sold in Japan/Asia, so it's RHD.

Spoken like a single guy without a steady girlfriend.

I hope you hurt your back and have to be subjected to riding with someone whos seat is so uncomfortable you'd rather take the bus.

^That's kinda mean. He's not wishing harm on anyone, just stating that the car is not luxurious in the least sense and that the cup holder is useless.

My AP1 and my buddy's '05 AP2 passenger adjust until it rubs on the plastic behind the seats. Maybe it just affects those with the "newer" seats?
