Which type of S2000 driver are you?
Nice post
I think I am a PURIST (without the cursing for the word 'mod' though!) heading towards the TUNER as I am changing this week
my OEM cat to a BERK 63.5mm (hurray my first 'mod'
) and I have in the back of mind to add in the future:
-front lip
-tyres (I love too much my OEM wheels so..)
-coilovers
-full Berk Exhaust together with ECU tune

As far as S2000 owners go, this may be accurate.
In terms of S2ki members, you're leaving out dudes like me.
#6 THE POSERS. The non-S2000 owners. There are those who will own an S2000, but are too poor at the moment to afford one. However most will never actually own an S2000, some will buy other sports cars...most will 'grow up' and come to the conclusion that modifying cars/fun cars are dumb.

Thanks man and cant wait to start modding My S. Future mods include a supercharger and a mass amount of cosmetics. Everything from colored lugs to a blue led dash board and the famous red interior.Im thinking about a roll bar as well...(no crazy body kit or spoiler though more of a stance nation type of thing)yep thousands upon thousands coming out of my wallet here soon.

LMAO.....Funniest comment on my thread thus far. Its alright man used S2000's arent too expensive. I bought mines for 13,500 dollars in superb condition with 36,000 miles on it. Sure I couldve bought a vette or an evo or something but after owning an AP1 Lord knows I needed another S2000...Havnt been in a car this fun ever since. I think your #6 would be more suited more for the types of S2000 enthusiasts there are vs the types of S2000 drivers there are. Dont worry though man I can see you getting an S in the future. As car owners we may not have the quickest cars but we sure do have one of the coolest.
Purist mostly according to your definition. I don't do power mod or any of that stuff, but I do add things here and there to better suit my taste.
Added the modifry cup-holder because I hate leaving my phone/wallet in the stock cup-holder. It impedes with my shifting!
Installed a lock/unlock beep because I hate how Hondas don't have a confirmation beep without the horn going off.
Upgraded radio. Stock one sucks.
Other than that, I have no desire to change the car in the future.

I feel im going to be the same way as you are doing pure cosmetics to get my S2000 to my liking but Im probably going to go a bit farther and more extreme hence THE STREET SWEEPER. Also looking to supercharge my S as well as I want more power but not looking to completely change the characteristics of my car like a turbo does. I just want my V-tec on steroids. Not looking to be a drag Junky or focus on being the fastest just want a bit more power on tap.
Nice post indeed, this is why I love the s2000 community.
I consider myself a purest. I have been running the s2000 99% stock for the past year. I been wanting aftermarket parts, but I haven't taken the plunge into the "tuner" side.

I'm an amalgamation of 3-5.
My first S was mostly stock (purist) but light trickling in of mods - intake, exhaust, etc (tuner)
Now I'm supercharged and love all the extra power (drag)
