Hmmm, close. It's an electric air pump pumping air into the exhaust to help with catalytic converter light off.

lol its funny when people ask me if i have a turbo everytime i start the car

anyways, the auxiliary air pump is for emissions i guess but it sounds cool

I got that again today by a passenger. That electric fan is the coolest sound I think I've heard...

VW R32 does sound pretty nice but no were near the sound of the Ferrari 360's engine. I had one was driving next to me the other day, i reved at him with no intention to race(i knwo better) and he reved back, it sounds so mean i almost pee in my pants.

Well, I just got back from the Grand Prix du Canada, and I'll tell you, just about every street car in the world sounds pathetic and buzzy to me now.

I would never in a million years compare a VW to a Ferrari, but for a VW, that car sounds damn good.

i seperated my cat and my exhaust manifold for about 30 minutes.... reminded me of those civic... sounds like me, my bathroom, and mouthwash
