tyres for drag racing

Default tyres for drag racing

will it be appropriate if i use semi slick tyres on my fairly stock s2k for drag racing??

Increasing the traction at the tyre will cause greater stress at the differential and transmission so be careful.

With that said, I'm running shaved Toyo RA1s that are essentially slicks with good compound and only 4 thin groves. The difference in grip was dramatic.

BF Goodrich offers a drag radial which can be used on the street and track in a P225/45R17 if you are interested

i mean, will a s2000 can handle the grip??are they strong enough to handle the semislick ??
otherwise the semi will slow down the car....
