UK specs were released after 02 models along with the softer rear anti-roll bar. More neg camber and toe-in at the back. Gives car more grip at the back and keeps the rear end more stable during high-speed corners.

So if you have an 01 with the stiffer anti-roll bar, will the UK specs do more harm than good, or is it still a better idea to stick with UK specs no matter what year you have?

UK specs will give you a better planted rear end regardless of year, at the expense of higher rear tyre wear.

I'm not sure what the alignment specs are for the models with the 17" inch wheels though, as the above applies to the OEM 16" wheels, but in any case more rear camber and toe-in at the rear will give you more rear end grip and better rear end stability during long sweepers.

Hi, have a question, what do you mean by higher rear tyre wear? One of the problems that I have encountered with the normal alignment is that it has a lot of inner tyre wear (actually all over). Is that what you mean?

A better planted rear end should not give higher tire wear, but more even?

I just changed the control arms and the bolts on the rear end so I have to go inn an get an allignment. And get my self some new tires as well. I would be nice to get some even tire wear this time

I just got the UK alignment on my MY00. The rear is more planted and it handles better when you push the car IMHO. The steering will feel a little heavier and the car "tracks" the ruts in the road a bit more. It kind of makes you drive with two hands on the wheel.
I dont know about the tire wear yet. It is not my DD so that is not as much of a concern for me.

I've always wondered, is UK spec alignment only for AP1s? Did it change in 2004 to match the rest of the worls again?

Honda UK settings are published in degree/minutes and some machines take inputs in decimal degree which is translated by = sign.

Total Toe
Front 0 mm
Total Toe 0 deg 40 min (0 deg 20 min per side) = +0.32̊ (+0.16̊ per side)
