I can't tell the difference at all, cosmetically anyway. I'm sure these clusters are not cheap, and for some obscure difference I don't think it would be worth it. Just my .02. Good luck with your endeavors though.

I believe an 04-05 JDM / EDM gauge cluster will work with the AP1 in the U.S. without modification. Not a sure thing, but I think they work. You could check the service manual. The easiest way to get one is to get in touch with a junk yard in the U.K. They call them "breakers" there.
