S2000 Talk Discussions related to the S2000, its ownership and enthusiasm for it.

Under what circumstances would you consider an S2K with a "non-clear" title?

I have another question along these lines if anyone would like to answer: Does a car with a salvage title still fall under warranty? Can an extended warranty be purchased for it? Thanks!

There was a "flood" titled S2000 not too far from me back in March for $19k. It was an '01 with 6k miles on it.... he claimed it would come with a warranty but...?? I don't think it would be the factory version. Maybe he had an aftermarket version in place.?

If I got a "theft recovery", i would imagine the warranty be gone due to the title, plus the fact that It would soon be getting a rollcage, etc...

Thanks. It seems like everyone wants upward of $19K for a salvage titled S2k. I just can't justify that price.
