Default undercoating

i am signing off on my new s2000 tomorrow. the dealer is pushing undercoat and scotchguard. i've alwats understood these things to be nothing more than a cash cow for the dealer. does anyone feel there is a compelling reason for me to purchase this undercoating?

Scotchgard has no place on leather. Undercoating only if you'll drive it in wintery conditions.

Congrats, too.

Undercoating - not under any circumstances. The need for that went out years ago. It's a calculated rip-off on the part of the dealer. Same for scotchguard - unless you ordered the Japan only base cloth seats!

Get clear bra, but not from the dealer. Cheaper else where.
