I don't care how he drove the car...if he doesn't like it, so freaking what? He should be able to sell and not get something rammed up his keester for doing so, verbally or otherwise.

Seriously, is your life that empty that people need to rag on people for making a choice in their life, right or not? Man, get a life if you answer yes to that question...

My life is full of rich and wonderful experiences and people, why does it offend some people that he doesn't like his choice of car? It's just bizarre to me...

That is the main point of all of this. Who freaking cares what someone else likes/dislikes/loves/hates about their car or any other possession that they have in their lives. Yet many here feel the need to bash someone for a poor choce they made. I'm saying that those who have felt the need to do so must have very little going on in their lives...

Period...

I'm done with this one...in fact, it was over before it started...

I couldn't agree more with this. Why are you guys are so insecure about your S that you have to convince every single person that it's the greatest car in the world? So the guy is diapointed, does it make your S any less of a car? Just tell him good luck on his new car and move on. Sheesh!

I hate agreeing with Greg (sorry, Greg ), but he's right. I don't care if THRILLR VTECed every single second of every single day or drove it like a grandma from the day he bought it. The point is that he drove it like he wanted to drive a car and it didn't give him what he'd wanted.

HIS opinion of the car and it's driving dynamics doesn't make YOUR opinion of the car and it's driving dynamics any less valid.

THRILLR, best of luck figuring out what your next car will be.

Thanks for the few who are objective and for the final time...My minimal vtec's are a result of an easy first 1000 and the inability of the car while in VTEC to inpress me. I may be young, but that is not always an indication of drivers skill. I can milk performance out of anything, i was running high 15s when i first got my stock delsol Si, do you know what the agreed figure for that car is....mid to high 16's. I know how to drive being the point of that little runoff. And even still the S did not do anything for me. SO this "driver's fault" nonsense is nothing more then words, cause in actuallity (and not to start a pissing contest) I can honestly say i am an above average driver. So with that said, does it realy matter if i VTEC'd 100 times or 1000, cause while i was VTEC'ing I was driving the car how it was meant to be driven. Mike

Uh....not if the first thing out of your mouth is 1/4-mile times.

I was agreeing with Greg on all points until you said that -- I guess I now understand why people keep jumping into the fray here.

The Corvette will be easier to drive. Hopefully you'll like the clutch better, and since there's a 1-4 skip-shift, you won't have to worry about those 2nd and 3rd gear notches.
