F20C,

What kind of 18's do you have?

Well, the Pirelli P7000 Super Sport has a UTG of 320...
They won't be nearly as sticky as the stock S02's.

But...for everyday driving and wet weather...the P7000 SS will be great.

Well, I was thinking about snatching up a set of the old Workmeisters, but I think I'm going to put that on hold and get in on the s/c groupbuy.

When the time comes, do you think they will work. They are relatively inexpensive and the sizes should fit well. I want to run the tires in the front a little undersized to prevent rubbing when I lower. I guess my next step down from a 215/40/18 would be a 235/35 or 225/35, but that would be much smaller and the extra width may not help any. Of course, the gauges are timed off the rear wheels, so would it matter much if the fronts were smaller?

Yada Yada Yada, it will prob be months till I get rims anyway. I want to get the good deal on the s/c, gotta set my priorities.

F20C,

215/40/18 should be fine bud.

What are the offset of the Workmeisters anyway?
No one has ever answered that question for me.
