Default BLITZ BRW 18x8 +45 offset tire size?

Hi,

I'm willing to swap stock wheels on my MY08 Platinum White S... The ones I'd like to use are BLITZ BRW 18x8 +45 offset in graphite gray. Like on this picture:

http://www.aspecproducts.com/forums/evom/b...818x9+35BMB.jpg

I have a question... What tire sizes should I use? I've calculated and they seems to be 225/40/18 on the front and 245/40/18 on the rear. Please confirm. Or not

Thank you!

Anton

The rear would actually be a 245/35R18 not a 40 Series.

Whooops... You're correct, thank you for pointing! What about offset & fitment? Is 225/40/18 & 245/35/18 OK with +45 offset? Thanks!

It depends if you're lowered or not. On my Blitz Type 01s, my specs for the front were 18x8 +48 on 225/40/18 tires and I rubbed on big dips. I switched to 215/40/18 and no longer had any rubbing issues. Your rears should be fine. If you put 215 in the front, it may look a little odd because the fronts will have a slightly stretched tire and the rear will look meaty.

I'm running stock suspension. It's already damn too low as I cannot drive into my parking any more (

OK, I'll bump my own thread. I've checked fitment guide here and it tells +45 offset with these sizes (215/40/18 and 245/35/18) should be fine. But it DOES rub the fenders with the most negative camber. Both front and rear. So DON'T DO IT. Probably even +48 offset should be fine but BLITZ does not produce BRW with anything higher then +45. To avoid rubbing I've installed spacers between shocks and body and it had solved the issue but DON'T DO IT AS WELL. Another thread to tell why...

This is the way it looks on the car (if anybody is interested in this particular model on S2000, I did not find any other pics in the net)...
