I vote for something that mixes the 9000 redline and the S. I don't think and animal or dragon will fit the cars original look and design.

Just my $.02.

I think the "H" emblems are fine on the front and rear of the car. However, I think it was a big mistake for Honda not to better promote one of the main reasons why the S2000 was introduced: to celebrate Honda's 50th anniversary.

How about an emblem to place on the cover of the lockable storage compartment between the seats? It could contain a big "50" in the center flanked by curved stalks of wheat or leaves (traditional anniversary emblem) with "Honda" written above and "Anniversary" written below.

I'm going to print this entire thread (and the earlier one as well) on Monday morning and send it to the designer, so she can be sensitive to the various points of view that have been expressed. Keep them coming!

Bulbitate - verb, transitive, to befilth only one of one's breeches.

The Remus dragon bulbitated at the sight of Psychoben's S2000 glyph.

Seriously, a dragon or any animal??? i ? judgement, its one thing when the manufacturer does it, but to take off the honda badge and put something like that on, thats ludicrous, people will laugh, not be admiring the car. Dont make our cars look like toys, they are classy sports cars, the honda sign gots to go, but not for replacement, by some kids idea of a toy dragon. Go with something like an S or S2000, redline etc, something simple yet elegant. I think thats the consensus here for the most part "elegant and classy" but not an H. The idea is not to attract attention to the badge, just switch it with the H to add more mystery to the car.
Andre ~ my opinion. Rick let me know how things are coming along. need any help etc.

I agree with Andre - don't screw up your car by replacing your H badges with dragons and the sort. It might be cute, but remember what else was cute? Do any of you remember the 'cuddley bear' wheels that came out about ten years ago? Those were cute. Neon's are cute. The new MR2 is cute. Just don't ruin the car for the rest of us. Don't be cute.

I have seen the badges removed very cleanly - and it looks quite nice, even with little fillers in there.

Do what you want to your car, but I'll keep mine on just the way it came from the factory - cause that's just me.

I can't believe people aren't jumping at the idea of the metallic Superman-like S i designed.. it looks so menacing. i think its gonna be hard to get a emblem designed w/ a 2000, or 9000RPM.. and not look too crowded and busy. I think just a simple S would work.. maybe not a Superman like S but just a like the H badge and switch out the letter. that would look good black chrome style.
