Does anyone know what's actually going wrong with the original pulser? Is the problem something that can be fixed with some work on the bench, or is the only solution to upgrade to the new regulator assembly?

Note...just inquiring since I wouldn't mind tinkering with the existing part as long as there's a possible fix.

if the window switch has been fixed and it goes out again, can I get it replaced again?
