Just got my car back with the updated part # 72250-S2A-A03.

My window is fixed and works great!

I installed the AutoLoc unit from EMC2 and it also fixed the problem - plus now I have auto-up!

had the new part put in quite a while ago (probably on the order of a year ago, when this thread was relatively fresh).

the new part started to fail last week. it has become a constant regular failure, and far more consistent than the original.

need to pull my paperwork and see if i can track down the receipt. i'm going to see if i can get it covered under replacement warranty.

If it's withing 12k 12mo, You shouldn't have a problem. If your out on time, ask them to contact the DPSM for goodwill consideration. It's a known issue the the DPSM should look favorably on it.

If they don't, you can at least buy one cheaper than they'll sell it to you

Didn't someone find a way to reprogram the switch when it failed?
I remember someone getting reprograming instructions from an acura dealer and it fixed the problem.
