I keep my lighter in the cup holder of MY02 and it accidentally slipped through under the cup holder. How do you remove the center black plastic piece where the cupholder is located on? I messed around with it and got it a little loosened by the shift boot by pulling out some kind of hooks out or something. Is there any screws or is it just hooks that attach the balck plastic piece? So if anyone can help me it would be much appreciated. thanks

 

You can just pull up on the center and on the sides of it, and it should just come off...Just clips holding it on.

just tape up a large flat head, and pry away!
