US plates get mounted via 2 screws on bumper...
I'm considering obtaining a European rear bumper cover, for the rear fog light and for the strong possibility that I may temporarily move to Europe in the future.
US plates have 2 holes at the top for mounting onto the bumper. The US bumper has 2 holes to accommodate this. Do European plates have holes as well? I've looked at some pics and I can't seem to find any holes in the plates. Are they held on to the bumper via sticky tape or something?
What I'm trying to get at is... while my car is still in the US, I still need to display my NY rear plate. If the Euro S2000 bumper does not have any holes drilled, I would have to either sticky tape the rear plate on or drill holes myself. If the Euro bumper does indeed have holes drilled, I would have to either sticky tape the plate on or get a mounting adapter (since I imagine Euro/US holes would not line up) which I'm sure they sell somewhere.
Thanks.
