Hi, all! I'm planning on purchasing an s2k in the next few days. I've been reading all i can about the car, and this is a great board to do it on. When I go to pick it up what should I look for. What things should I check out and make sure I have/ they include. I underdstand the basics, but what do you guys reccomend so that I don't miss anything.

ok since its used, make sure all TSBS are done. have a dealership run a vinstat on your car to see if there are any bulletins for your car. make sure the tranny doesnt grind into 2nd gear. try to listen for any strange noises, especially from the tranny and rear differential.

if you have access to a good mechanic, have him run a leakdown and compression test. this will let you know how healthy the engine is. make sure the top operates fine and look for wear in the top itself. check the seats for cracks.
