Buying aftermarket dual exhaust is also worthless.

 

i made about 6-7whp with my dual invidia. so to say it's useless is misleading. several others have made such gains as well.

I'm not looking to play devil's advocate here, but I don't agree that ALL intakes are useless. Does an aem CAI make your engine bay look cheap? Maybe, but I believe it actually has gains unlike some JDM bling like ARC, which you can probably claim is useless.

 

Some intakes can actually help with gas mileage.....slightly.

This thread is kind of silly because it is all relative. One's experiences can differ more than another's. Sometimes the "useless" mods bring other satisfactions like showing (bling), slight weight reduction, added stability when paired with other mods, an inexpensive way to get in the modding game......I can go on and on.

 

bling is seperate from what i was asking, i was referring to products designed to improve performance but they only look cool or waste your money.

 

I always thought BC was a useless "mod".

STB are truely worthless IMHO (just look at the cross member under your stock airbox=Yowwwwza!) the other stuff is subject to perspectives
