K meaning 1000 (duh!), shift the decimal point 3 places to the right. MY 2001 S2K.

Aft3rburn was a handle I picked up while in the Air Force. I noticed that Afterburn was taken on alot of websites out there, so I did a little "creative engineering"

Mine started way back in the pirate BBS days, it means nothing and it just kinda stuck around for the last 12 years.

Do you have any foxtail palms (Wodyetia bifurcata)? I inherited a bunch of seed stock from the previous owner of my house. Drop me a line if you're interested in some.

Mine's not too difficult:
Coral = um, well, CORAL
Doc = Ph.D.
I'm a marine biologist, specializing in coral ecology.

My user name has a slightly storied past. I used to collect vintage analog synthesizers. All kinds: Arps, Oberheims, Yamahas, Korgs, and...Moogs. I had a band when I lived in Silicon Valley called MoogJuke. We had a manifesto (very college!) wherein we attempted to be less of a band and more of a "roving laboratory of the sound of pure electricity" That was quite a while ago and I've kept the handle because it is actually quite difficult to pronounce correctly. It is not pronounced, "Moo-g-jook," it is actually, "Mowg-jook." What a great, if mildly amusing anecdote. Perhaps it points to a certain lack of intelligence on my part. Duh, I dunno.

My Internet alias is fairly obvious i guess, i'm a hobbyist bass player. Music is the greatest thing to take your mind off work and stress. Well it was the greatest until i got my S2000 anyway...

Mine's real creative, I realize. But when I picked it, I was so feed up with having a million different login names that I decided to just start using my name for everything...

CoralDoc,

Seriously? That's what you do for a living?
Holy cool, Batman!

I got an environmental sciences degree... I'd like to go for a Master's, just not sure what in!! Lots of money to lay down if you're undecided.
