Back in the good old days of working at Toys R Us for high school dough, I picked this one up. I've always been a tinkerer, so engineering didn't seem like a large stretch. But I'm actually one of those people who uses the spring in a Bic pen and a bottle of hair dye to create wild stuff in a pinch.
Most of my creations nowadays are electronic, so it seemed like a good thing to start playing with Michelle's internals. I'll get that damn stereo control mod and MP3 player built yet!

easy: my last name is ming (no relations with the Ming China nor that dynasty - the emperors had the last name "Chou"), and in high school people on my basketball team called me mingster, and the name stuck.
Pretty obvious really. I wanted Y2KS2K, but found out it had been taken 2 hours before I applied for it at the AAA office. However, someone posted a pic last week of the wreck of the Y2KS2K. Maybe I was lucky in not getting that handle after all!
I worked my way up through the ranks from an entry level telecom tech to now manager. After all that wire-pulling, wirejock just seemed logical. I'm still waiting for some study to come out about the detrimental effects of dialtone. Needless to say I don't answer the phone at home.
The first time I read about the S2K, its fearsome nature reminded me of the commercial that Lexus produced a few years ago after Shakespear's sonnet from MacBeth (or Ray Bradbury's 1960s thriller by the same name). While it was a good attempt to conjure up a meanancing image, the bottom line was that it was still just a PR job to create excitement for their newest, powerful luxury auto.
On the other hand, the prose really fits the S2K, so I took the title as my handle. The poem goes something like this:
Crystal water turns to dark
where 'ere it's presence leaves it mark
and boiling currents pound like drums
when something wicked this way comes.
A presence dark invades the fair
and gives the horses ample scare.
Chaos rains and panic fills the air
when something wicked this way comes....
Ill winds mark its fearsome flight,
and autumn branches creak with fright.
The landscape turns to ashen crumbs,
when something wicked this way comes...
Flowers bloom as black as night
removing color from your sight.
Nightmarish vines block your way,
as thorns reach out to catch their prey.
And by the pricking of your thumbs
realize that their poison numbs
From frightful blooms, rank odors seep,
Bats and beasties fly and creep.
'Cross this evil land, ill winds blow
despite the darkness, mushrooms glow. All will rot and decompose
For something wicked this way grows...
