1,000 for a Radar Detector Installation?
You paid this why? Just so the cord wouldn't stretch across the mid of the compartment? Agreed it looks nice?? Nice isn't quite worth a K IMO though.

I have the same install in my s2k.. and it is AWESOME!!!
Did it so I can leave it in NYC or around Long Island, and not worry about someone stealing my radar...
The installer is a virtuoso!!!

2002 Interior colors- as well as all other interior colors are available for perfect match - including both color AND texture! Not only are all interior matches available, but he can even do a match with something other than the surrounding trim pieces- ie he offered to do mine in black perforated leather to match the center section of my seats (which might have been interesting) but I figured I'd stick to a near pefect match- and the pictures show a perfect incredible job.
Now, as for you few out there who posted comments saying you thought it was expensive, consider the following:
1) It competes with a stealth K40 install in price (within a hundred or so) and out-performs it.
2) This is by far the nicest custom install V1 this car could get.
3) I didn't say it was not expensive, just the best - and sometimes when you care enough about the best, cost isn't always a factor within reason- and this is well within reason.
4) The WOW factor is worth the grand by itself.
5) No cords strewn about the cabin, no inconvenience, nothing to put away or take out.
6) V1 never in view.
