It depends on what your looking for. I went from a 99 3000gt VR4 (not stock) to the S2000. Much slower at all speeds, but WAY funner to drive. But dont get me wrong, the S2000 will pull on many cars, just wont feel like it can.

This year I traded a C5 6-speed in on my S2000, and no, I don't feel power-deprived. The Vette felt like a bomber compared to a fighter plane; it's like you "wear" the Honda and you're one with it. The S feels just as fast as the Vette, even tho I know it isn't. The 1st gear is so high in the Chevy that I never got a violent launch off the line--you'd never know it had some 350ft.lb. of torque. The shifter in the S is so quick and precise that the funmeter reading stays above most other cars, IMHO.
