Well here is a teaser of the car now with paint, it looks good in the make shift paint booth we made but will only know when its out in the sun. It has some flaws but hey for a garage spray and 450.00 its all one color

With a 50 lb. weight gain over a stock AP1, 50 lb. LIGHTER than an AP2, you're "surprised" it weighs THAT MUCH with a 3.5x bigger engine?!

A buddy of mine just corner weighed his car and it is a stock S with after market swaybars and springs and his came in at 2714 with 5/8 tank of gas.

incorrect. i have cornerweighted both cars, a few examples of each. they are lighter. but this is not corvette talk, so i will leave the issue alone.
