not my cup of tea personally but i say if u like it...do it regardless what people say. your car should be an expression of how u want it to be, not to conform to peoples tastes...

Wait. Your first post says this is for those who don't have a $200,000 ride, and when someone questions this idea you say "Farraies are convertible and have vertical doors as well". First of all, learn how to spell Ferrari. It's pretty disrespectful to call one a "Farraie". What is that? Secondly, why are you comparing our car to a $200,000 ride if the whole point is that our car is NOT a $200,000 ride?

i personally dont see it as rice. Just because a lot of ppl are going to do it doesnt make it rice. (Few can afford the 2k price +install).

Jo-V, if you have graduated high school then you are a disgrace to the US education system. Can you form a sentence correctly?

You might just be the dumbest person I have even seen post. Go post elsewhere, idiot.

Keep in mind that Jo-V is the same guy that has 'seen' a Jackson Racing SC on an S2000. I think he might be living in 'Farraies' Land.

Jo-V - It's often wise to think before trying to form a sentence. I've only seen two of your threads, but in both you end up back tracking, arguing, correcting yourself and apologising. Sounds like a whole lot of wasted effort to me.

Scissor Doors - in concept they are cool. Love the whole Lamborghini thing. In practice they suck. They will take a lot of effort to get right, won't stay aligned for long, take more effort to open and close, and because of the way they open, make it much harder to get in and out of the car. Any mod that has a 'WOW' factor, yet makes the car heavier and more inconvenient surely must fit under the 'RICE' or whatever banner.

Okay, in concept I think vertically hinged doors are pretty cool. Did you think though about the fact that just to get in or out you'd have to lower the top, open the door, exit/enter, close the door, and then raise the top? Unless you made the top mechanism remote controlled ($$), this would make it impossible to secure your car completely, and it would add a lot of time to simple ingress and egress. Simply put, it won't work on the S2000 unless you want to look like an idiot everytime you park your car and don't use a valet...or want to get a custom top fabricated which will allow you to open or close the doors independently of the top's position (I'm not sure if this is even possible even given money as no object). And lay off of Strike, if you haven't noticed, people here do value proper english grammar and a general respect for the rules of the language. you, obviously, don't...I wonder how you made it this far into car-dom without being abole to spell Ferrari or Valet.
