i have never experience a vented hood , and i only had OEM style, but now i'm looking to get a J's style CF hood for my S and i'm worring about that might have a lot water going in when it's raining or car wash. Am i just worrying too much? or it won't matter at all? please don't tell me " I dont' care or i only wash it myself "

The area where the vent opens is over the area where the stock air box is. If you removed your air box and put a aftemarket intake then pretty much the water will just drain in that big open space. Shouldn't be a problem since the vent is not over anything important.
