Vibration in the dashboard...anybody?.....easy fix here
My MY04 had a very minor but irritating vibration/rattle coming from the dash just in front and to the left of the instrument panel. This seemed only to be present when I was over somewhat rough roads and only below 20 miles an hour, as when slowing down for a stop sign etc.
Last night I looked to see if I could find "something" that was not tight or hanging under the dashboard area and found nothing. When you open the door on either side, there is on the side of the dashboard an approximately quarter sized hole that is covered with a plastic cover. Using a flat screw driver with a piece of cloth around the tip you can remove this plastic cover and will find a hex bolt that can be easily tighted with a small wrench. This bolt I found was quite loose and tightening this and the one on the opposite side of the dashbooard on the passenger side has completely eliminated the vibration/rattle.
I may be the only one who had this problem but if there are any out there with a similar issue I thought they may want to take care of it easily themselves rather than going to some mechanic who may end up taking the instrument panel apart to locate the problem. I hope this helps out someone out there.

, this thread solved a major buzz I was getting under deceleration somewhere at back of and under the dashboard.
One bolt was completely free, the other finger loose when I checked.
