I'm planning on buying a S2000 soon. Buying a second hand car can be a difficult task as you don't know the complete and honest history behind.

I've realized that Honda has put the VIN sticker on the front and rear bumpers, door jams, and of course, on the front windshield. Is there anywhere else? Please be specific.

Also, say a S2000 is rear-ended and the rear bumper is replaced. Do most body shops take the old VIN sticker off the wrecked bumper and stick it on the new one? Or do they do something else?

I've seen em on almost every single panel on the car..

And if the rear was damaged to the point to replacement, I'm like 90% sure they don't transfer the VIN sticker..
