Voodoo shift knobs
this is probably a stupid question, but here goes:
If there's no locking nut and i want to get a knob with the shift layout etched, will it be hard to make sure the layout is actually facing the the right direction?
what if the threads starts to wear out over time?

Since Ole is probably not up yet
, I'll answer your Q. Screw the knob onto the shift lever as tightly as possible. Mark the top and then send it off for laser etching. The knob is a very firm fit and shouldn't rotate more over time (unless you unscrew and replace your knob a lot and gall the AL). If you're really worried about it, perhaps a properly sized steel washer placed on top of the stalk would give you piece of mind. This would certainly not be a problem with the Ti knob.

I just received an e-mail from Bob at Voodoo, wanting me to point out the following:
"The pistol grip design is not available for all applications...only those where such a shape seems to make sense. The S2000 is NOT one of the applications for which a pistol grip is available. All S2000 knobs are spherical."

), and I really liked his speherical knob. It was very comfortable, and it made the throw seemed even shorter.
