Default VTEC after break in

I also just got past 600 miles last night Just wondering should I slowly edge towards 9000 rpm over the next few days or is it ok to go straight from shifting at 5800 during breakin right towards 9000??? Now I have been just slowly inching towards it. Im shifting now around 7000. Its killin me not to let her rip. What are yall two cents????

I have 140 miles on my new '03 and I've reach 7K RPM twice already X''O... I'm the calmest, self-restraint person but I have no self control with this car!

There are so many opinions about break-in methods, but there is no proof that I have seen on this board that supports any being better than the other. I drove my car very aggressively below VTEC until I hit 600 miles, then let the beast loose. I have VTEC'ed my car so much since then.
