Default VTEC for the first time

damn damn damn!!! VTEC is great, i was coming home a little while ago and on the way i stomped it while i was in 2nd gear and it pinned my head to the back of the seat. all i can say is that the S is a great great car!

yeah, hitting vtec for the first time is like popping your cherry for the first time. and similarly, the more times you've hit vtec, the less intense it will feel... don't get me wrong, i still love my car, but sometimes it's just not enough to satiate my thirst for speed and power....

I agree... although it's like that for ANY car, not just the s2000. Even people with mustang cobras get used to the acceleration and find the need for pullies/chips to run more boost. Most true power junkies are never satisfied. Thats why there are 400hp turbo hayabusas running around on the streets. Although I would have to say that riding my old R1 pretty much showed me my limit of "enough power". 130+ trap speeds are 'just right'.

bikes are in a whole other league in terms of acceleration........ at the Ring, I get passed by bikers doing 60mph faster than I am at times, popping wheelies out of corners even. Crazy crazy! I'm convinced never to try one.....

I dont know about the whole pinning thing.. lol But it does sound nice! Put an Intake and it feels even faster (not going faster) but makes you think it is This was also my first V-tec car, Past cars were all turbos
