Not at all true. You can think whatever you like.

You can also say whatever you like. The issue is how and why you say and what you're hoping to achieve.

I agree that a 'VTEC Engaged' light is unnecessary and doesn't match my particular tastes. My reason for not mentioning it is because I don't think it will add to the thread, and I'm secure enough in myself that i don't need to bully anyone else into thinking the same.

And I certainly don't feel a need to call other's taste stupid or insult them in other ways. That's just plain discourteous.

I subscribe to the idea of "If you can't say anything nice or constructive (or funny ) then don't say anything."

I feel what I said was a lot more constructive than what the original poster said. Follow my advice and your car will be worth more when you go to sell it than if you cut up your wiring harness and your dashboard just to mount a useless light.

My point is if there was someone sitting on the fence on whether they should do it or not at least I gave them an opposing view to consider. I call that constructive. My original post if you go back and read it did not call anyone anything (unlike the response).
