VTEC and Long Drives
I think you guys are giving the car a little to much credit.
The OP has a point.
You should pull over every 10min of casual driving and let the engine cool down for about 1/2 hr.
For every 10min of hard/vtec driving you have to let the car rest for the entire day.

I would say you might want to give your car a break if it's like 110* out or something, but for over 200miles (this time of year) you should have no problem. I would only stop to check oil level, but us ap2's don't burn crazy amounts of oil in vtec like our older brothers the ap1's

driving the whole way in vtec would be funny
