I'm so in love with the dashing roar s makes when you play throttle around vtec engagement point (with no air box!!!). Wonder if it is safe.

 

You mean just the cover off the stock air box? My understanding is that other than pulling in hot air vs cold, I don't think there's any major issues created by it. You should prob just upgrade to a cold air intake though.

 

Well i m putting together turbo and it will encorporate dual cold intake similar to aem.
My question was mostly regarding vtec + rapidly changing throttle around vtec eng point.
