In VTEC for two days.
I got into the VTEC zone (over 600 miles) yesterday, but today was the first day the driving conditions permitted me to really push it.
Holy s**t! It goes into another zone over 6000 rpm. It's not what I expected, just better. I pulled to 8700 RPM in first and second getting onto the interstate and was blowing by people so rapidly it was a little scary at first This is intoxicating. I drive to Phildelphia tomorrow on some interstates where 80 mph is the norm, so I'll get a chance for some more high speed experiences.
My Valentine One is in place and ready.

I'll be jealous, Rick, for another 148 miles, but I've got tomorrow morning off and the blizzard of '00 isn't expected to hit until 3am Sunday!!!!!
I'm extrememly pleased with the Valentine One. It is far more sensitive than the Passport 4600 I'm comparing it to. Its backwards looking antenna and direction indicator add a whole new dimension to knowing what's going on.

No matter what you hear I don't think you're ever prepared for the first time you get to rev this baby up to 9 grand. It is truly awesome. I like your choice of the word intoxicating Rick. Very appropriate. Enjoy
