wacky V1 setup

Some vette guy in N. Carolina just found what could be the coolest setup for his remote unit. And it's supposed to work in any rearview mirror.

That looks sweet!

The only problem in our cars is where to put the main unit.
I wish the guy could take the guts apart from the V1 and put them all inside the mirror.
That would be really cool.

That kind of defeat the purpose of a remote unit which is suppose to make it easier for the driver to monitor the radar, and make the main unit less conspicuous. I have mine placed almost straight in the middle of driver's field of view.

That is unique and inventive. I like mounting the remote down on the dash though, so cops and other peeps can't see it. If I was going to put the indicators in the mirror, I would just as well mount the whole unit up there.

It also costs between two and three thousand dollars to have that done.
