[stand on soapbox]
There is nothing about the s2k itself that would make it unsafe for snowy/cold conditions. The tires are the only problem. Plain and simple the stock S2K tires ARE NOT made for cold weather. It doesn't matter what car you have, if you put race slicks on it, it is going to be dangerous and near impossible to control in cold weather. While our tires are not quite Race Slicks, theses tires are designed to be warm/hot. Any s2k with propper snow/winter tires will handle great for those conditions.

Just like the idiots who drive on bald tires and wonder why their car handles poorly in the rain. Then go around and start rumors that our car is dangerous in the rain. When in fact our car with properly maintained tires is one of the better wet handling cars -I- have ever driven.

Actually it's all the car's fault for having that oversteer problem with the rear end.

Ummm, no. It's because of the tires...unless you are kidding, which with you, Strike, I'm never quite sure...

I agree with krazik, it's all about the tires!! Also, on rough weather, we all should take it EASY, don't be VTECing and doing 100mph on bad weather.

Tomorrow is our first snowstorm in NoVA., Only 2-3 inches expected, but I'm still nervous!
