Default want to knows

Hi guys,
I was wondering about some stuffs

> Doesn't S2000 have high risk of getting jacked because the soft top is really
easy to break into? also, I think it'll be hard to take care of the soft top with
all the risks of tears on the soft top.... I need your input...

> How good is the cornering in the s2000? Having seen all the amazing stories and
writings about how good s2000 is in terms of turning capability, I wanted to
hear from s2k owner's opinion.

> If I drive s2000 not to hard, would I be able to get descent fuel economy?
I mean , the fuel economy isn't too bad in the s2000 right?..

> Because S2000 is 2seater roadster, it sometimes sucks that you can
only ride 1 passenger... but this is sports car so its understandable
however I want to know that S2000 is really worth the price.

Thanks for looking ~

If a thief wants into a car, it does not matter what kind it is, they will get in.

This car handles better than any car I have ever driven. The car is amazingly composed when in the corners.

MPG depend a whole lot on driving style. I have seen as high as 35mpg average in a single tank - all open road. Many people on here see high teens and some see high 20's.

Best thing you can do is go drive one for yourself.

I hope this helps you some.

S2Ks are rarely stolen.

Best cornering vehicle Ive ever been in.

If you it like grandma you will get pretty impressive MPGs all things considered.

Your asking an S2K enthusiast group if we think S2Ks are worth the money.

um... why not?
I am asking the enthusiasts of the s2k owners whether
it is worth buying it because they actually own it...
I don't see anything odd with that........ -_-;;;

Convertibles have lower theft resistance than hard-tops. If I parked in a high-crime area constantly I'd consider a hard top for my S.

Cornering? Darn fine. Its feel is much better than its limits. My C5 Z06 cornered faster and balanced more easily. My AP1 was, and AP2 is, more fun to push hard in and our shifters are pure pleasure.

Fuel economy? Not bad on the highway but it plain suck balls in city driving. I average close to 19 MPG in cities and that's easy driving, not racing hard.

My S2K is worth it to me. I had my choice of more expensive cars (Z4M Coupe, Cayman S, or Z06) but in the end I decided they weren't worth the extra coin to me so I came back to the S2K. I was tempted to wait for the new 370Z and see if they got it right but that's vaporware. The S2K is raw, but not as rough to live with as an Elise SC (another consideration for me).
