I seen an Audi 4seater convertible today, car was silver and it had chrome trim around the window...





Anyway, I think the s2k looks nice with the tape pulled. Either way. everyone will give you compliments and never even notice. I know my dealer didn't.

Looks good with the HT and NO top, but IMO looks bad with the softtop up.

I like it better off.

We used our fingers to get it started in the doorsill and just used citrus glue remover to get the excess glue off. Of our 3 cars non had paint problems, but that's not to say that a decent number of owners didn't.

Thanks for the info, I'm going to start on this today. I bought some adhesive remover from the auto supply store yesterday, and I figure that a heat gun will work well to soften the vinyl.

I just removed mine last weekend and couldn't be happier. I don't have picks yet. There were absolutely no problems with the paint and I only had a little adhesive at the top that was a little bit of a pain. This was a mod that I didn't think about doing but I think it looks 10 times better and should look better with the HT that I ordered. Do it!!! You won't regret it.
